Telstra Art Award: Dog Dreaming Wins Big

Caring for Dogs, Community and Country.

I am the Invasive Species Management Officer for the Torrs Strait. As par of my role is to assist communities on island deal with feral animals such as wild dogs. Not all islands have packs of wild dogs. The majority of the dog issues as with camp dogs on the mainland are withing the village limits or A Deed of Grant in Trust (or DOGIT). Ihave had some conversations with the staff from AMRRIC regarding their DVD "Caring for Dogs,Caring for Country", which I think is a great inititive but looses its power when shown to island communities. I am very keen on reproducing the exact same information of this DVD but using Torres Strait islanders as the main charactors and incorperating "Creole" to get the message across. My office of the TSRA's Land and Sea Management Unit is willing to fund this production.

Can anyone give me some information as to the rights of title, the script and company who produce the AMRRIC DVD?
