Fundraising tips

AMRRIC has partnered with Everyday Hero to offer our supporters the simplest way to community fundraise. You can now set up an AMRRIC Everyday Hero Supporter page

How to set up your page

  1. Let supporters know WHY you are doing what you are doing. Share your passion for helping dogs and people on remote communities as  it will  help people understand why they should support you. Remember to include pictures of yourself and AMRRIC’s work - people want to see who they are donating to.

  2. Be the first! By donating to your own supporter page you are showing your commitment to your fundraising and setting the benchmark for other donations.

  3. Let your friends know by sharing your fundraising page on Facebook, Twitter, and other social media platforms – spread the word! Send your friends an email to let them know.

    Hi,
I’m fundraising to support AMRRIC’s work helping dogs in remote Indigenous communities. In many remote communities, there is no access to veterinary services, this affects the dogs health and also the community members lives. This is your chance to be awesome by supporting AMRRIC’s work delivering veterinary and education programs. AMRRIC programs improve the health of dogs and their owners lives too.  Happy, healthy dogs contribute to a happy, healthy community. Thank you for supporting my fundraising.

  4. Update your supporter page. Keep your donors and potential donors updated with your progress. How is the fundraising going? What obstacles have you come across? What are you really enjoying etc. You can share images of AMRRIC's programs from www.amrric.org/gallery or  www.facebook.com/AMRRIC .

  5. Say Thank You to your donors. Let  people know that you think they are awesome for donating and that it’s appreciated.
