Advisory Group Member

AMRRIC is seeking people to join our new Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Group. The Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Group is a new strategic initiative that brings the voice of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities into the planning, design, delivery and evaluation of AMRRIC’s discrete animal management services and programs. The Advisory group will consist of up to nine Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander members from across Australia to ensure a range of views, experience, skills, gender and geography within the group. 

Membership of the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Advisory Group is voluntary; however Group members will be reimbursed for the cost of travel, accommodation and meal expenses associated with attending face to face meetings.

Are you:

  • Aboriginal and or Torres Strait Islander
  • Passionate about animal management  in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities
  • Able to bring  firsthand experience and knowledge  to AMRRIC Board discussions and decision-making
  • Interested in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander service delivery and planning
  • A person with sound understanding of animal management in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander remote communities
