Organisation and Structure

AMRRIC is an incorporated, non-profit organization with two paid employees (the Executive Officer and Program Manager) and a membership of Vets, Indigenous environmental health workers, academics and public health workers. It is governed by an executive committee who are elected by members in accordance with the constitution. AMRRIC maintains strategic partnerships with many Indigenous representative groups, animal interest, public health, environmental health and academic bodies. As an independent organisation acting on behalf of remote Indigenous communities, AMRRIC is unique in Australia (and the world) in terms of its positioning and effectiveness.
